How to Hack and Install Windows Media Player 11 Final Bypass and Crack Genuine Windows Validation

The final gold version 11.0.5721.5145 of Windows Media Player 11 has been released by Microsoft, and Windows users can download Windows Media Player 11 final directly from Microsoft without any WGA validation check and test on Windows OS. However, during installation of WMPlayer 11, there is still Windows Genuine Advantage Validation check required on Windows OS that you plan to install WMP11. Method 2

The other method of install and setup WMP11 bypassing and disable the genuine Windows validation of WGA is to install components of WMPlayer part by part.

1. Download WMP11.
2. Extract (unrar or unzip) wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe by using extraction tool such as WinRAR.
3. Go to the extracted folder, and execute (run) wmfdist11.exe.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Execute wmp11.exe.
6. Restart the computer.
7. Start using Windows Media Player 11.

Method 3

This step involves usage of the cracked LegitLibM.dll, rename from the patched LegitLib.dll used to install beta version of WMP11 skip genuine Windows validation check.

1. Download WMPlayer11.
2. Download WinRAR and install WinRAR extraction tool.
3. Extract the WMP11 installer by using WinRAR or PowerArchiver to a directory (e.g. wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu).
4. Download LegitLibM.dll (removed due to DMCA complaint from Microsoft) (in RAR format, extract after download) from here.
5. Copy the extracted LegitLibM.dll to the extracted directory of WMP11 installer.
6. Overwrite any existing LegitLibM.dll file.
7. Run setup_wm.exe by double clicking.
8. Install Windows Media Player 11 Final accordingly.

Method 4

Download and install the patched version of WMP11 setup installer (wmp11.exe) (link removed due to complaints from Micrsoft) which has the cracked LegitLibM.dll. Simply download the run the installer to setup the WMPlayer. If you have WMP10 in your system, use WinRAR to extract the contents of the setup file and manually execute setup_wm.exe.

Method 5 New and Easier

Thanks to z, you can now easily upgrade from Windows Media Player 10 (WMP10) to WMP 11 without any hassle about validation, and without downloading any crack or patch.

If you’ve already installed WM11 go to STEP 2.

STEP 1: Go to the old windows media player (WM10), go to Tools–>Options and click on ‘Check for updates once a day.’ Press Apply and then OK.

After a short time a window appears asking if you want to upgrade to a newer version, click OK. System will download WM11 and and install the Media Player 11. After installation restart your PC.

STEP 2: Click on Start –> Search. Click ‘All files and folders’ then search for LegitLibM.dll. (it’s located in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player folder.)

After LegitLibM.dll is found, right click and rename it to legitlib.dll.

STEP 3: Run WM11, click on validate, it may say ‘unable to validate’ (but that’s a fake message and WMP11 still works, so just click on OK). Then the program will go on to settings or configuration and after you do that the WMP 11 is ready to be used.

Method 2,3 and 4 above is WMP 11 application specific way to crack and bypass WGA in order to download and install WMP11, while method 1 is the workaround that make your Windows genuine, so there won’t be any restriction on installation of WMP11. There are more ways to legitimate your Windows.

Unable to Activate Windows XP and Vista with COA OEM Key Online Without Phone Activation

When trying to activate Windows XP or Windows Vista system by using online product activation service provided by Microsoft, Windows Product Activation (WPA) wizard will reject the license serial or product key entered by saying the activation key is invalid or has been entered incorrectly. Then a pop up window appears asking user to re-enter the product key or activate using automatic phone system. Even if user call Microsoft phone activation hotline, the product key is still denied when entered during initial automated voice recognition system. Users requires to gives 64-number activation ID to operator or Microsoft CSR representative to get 48-number installation ID to successfully complete the activation process.

This symptom happens when users attempt to activate online over Internet using OEM CD key or product key located on COA (Certificate of Authenticity) label or sticker on PCs or laptops. This unique product keys is often unused because OEMs always already pre-install Windows XP or Vista on system they sold and pre-activate the system using a special pre-activated key to bypass product activation. Thus buyers of OEM brand computer never had to activate the system again, nor needed to enter any product key on first use. Even if you reinstall Windows again on the machine by using factory restore produce or using recovery CD provided by OEM such as Dell, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Acer, Toshiba, and etc, you won’t need a product key or have to activate Windows online or by phone.

Product key on COA sticker is only used when users install Windows on the computer using non-default factory recovery or restoration method provided by OEM. This situation can happen when you try to install fresh Windows using original retail Windows CD to avoid crappy programs often accompany OEM Windows restore image. But not many will go this path. As these keys on COA labels are seldom used, many unethical people copies and sells these COA OEM product key, sometimes together with the Windows CD and counterfeit COA. As these keys are never used before anyone, it’s treated as genuine and valid, and the Windows system is activated via Internet even though its license is illegal.

To stop this illegal practice, Microsoft has disabled product activation over Internet using OEM keys used by worldwide PC makers, and always require phone activation. Thus if you enter OEM product key from a COA label, you will be required and directed to call customer support specialists to obtain an installation ID which will override the invalid product key control, provided you can prove that your copy of Windows is genuine and legitimate by answering a few questions.

Thus if you do not like to go through this hassle, restore your computer using recovery CD or recover partition or ofter factory restore procedure provided by your OEM computer, where no product key or activation is needed. Refer to computer manual if you not sure how to do it.
